Today on the occasion of the International NASH Day, we take a moment to reflect on the increasing burden of this metabolic disease on the island. NAFLD or NASH is very common in Mauritius, thought to be linked to the very high prevalence of diabetes and obesity. With no approved treatment to date, NASH remains a top health priority.

To mark this day, CIDP pledges a new commitment to expand its research focus in this disease area.
