Dr. Reshma Ramracheya attends the 4th Annual Novo Nordisk – Oxford Fellowship Programme. Our Director of Pharmaceutical and Pharma Business Lead, Dr. Reshma Ramracheya, was invited to attend the inauguration of the new facilities for Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford (NNRCO), held on 12 September 2018 from 1-3 pm in the Richard Doll Building on Old Road Campus, Headington, Oxford. During her stay in Oxford, Dr. Reshma also took part in the 4th Annual Novo Nordisk – Oxford Fellowship Programme that aims to support the development of a new generation of exceptional young diabetes researchers, who will become future leaders in the field and to further develop scientific excellence within diabetes and ultimately improve the lives of patients. Dr. Reshma has contributed extensively in the field of diabetes through her research; one of her publications is - The role of PYY in pancreatic islet physiology and surgical control of diabetes, a breakthrough study described as a vital piece of the puzzle representing exciting step forwards toward the development of drugs that can put Type 2 diabetes into remission.
