In Cosmetics Amsterdam 2018: Do not miss our worshop related to our innovative anti-pollution protocols! On 17 April at 11:20am, Mr. Jessen Curpen, Biophysics Manager and Responsible of the Development of Clinical Study Designs at CIDP, will present: Cutaneous Ageing due to Environmental Pollutants. Air pollution is considered as the second most important cause of extrinsic cutaneous ageing. It is widely accepted that the main mechanism involves the generation of Reactive oxygenSpecies (ROS) which then leads to lipid and protein oxidation. After successfully setting up our unique Pollution Exposure System in 2017, for the standardization of the anti-pollution claim, we will reveal in this workshop, latest results demonstrating the effect of Ozone and PM2.5 on lipid peroxidation and protein carboxylation, and will present the salient features of a standardized protocol for antipollution claims.
