Established in 2004, CIDP (Centre International de Développement Pharmaceutique) is an international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) that carries out high R&D activities for pharmaceutical, medical device, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries.
CIDP hosted a “dine and learn” event on 28th October with Dr Anjuli Gunness, Endocrinologist and Diabetologist. During the presentation, Dr. Gunness elaborated on the epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) in children and adolescents which has an increasing prevalence in Mauritius and worldwide and Dr Claire Blazy-Jauzac provided key insights into clinical research.
The event was well appreciated by all attendees who also discovered the ongoing clinical trials on T2DM being undertaken at CIDP.
